I went to that concrete place the other day to drop off a resume and when I looked at my iPod I realized it took me just under an hour to ride there. I decided not to apply because I can't be riding for 2 hours everyday and not expect to be burnt out fast. So now my plan is to just giver at the gym and get as many active clients as I can and make a bit of coin. I have a chance to do some landscaping starting in July too which will be good because it will be steady cash flow.

This last week I have crashed twice on my bike riding to work. The first time I was going pretty slow so that didn't hurt that bad but yesterday I was probably going about 35km/h and the pin on my breaks dropped out so I had no breaks and had to jump off my bike basically; that one hurt a lot.

I'm now at 205 lbs and I'm feeling stronger than I have before. I haven't lost any speed with my size but I haven't gained any either. That is the next phase of my training; speed, acceleration and vertical. I can't wait to see where I am in a couple years with my training and playing. All that takes care of the off field training so I need to work at my on field abilities as well. I feel like I am constantly improving though and always moving forward.

Last weekend our games got cancelled due to the rain here in Alberta, apparently everyone is made of sugar here and can't play in the rain, what a joke. But, we have our first games this weekend in Edmonton and I couldn't be any more stoked. Apparently one of the teams we're playing has a wicked striker that runs there team so I cannot wait to be challenging him tomorrow afternoon. This first game here is what I fucking live for! Through all the tragedies throughout time there has always been an understanding for sports. Tomorrow when that first whistle blows we forget everything else and play the game that we love.

FYI posts are going to be more frequent and I'll be finishing everyone off with some inspiration.
